Sports and Remedial Massage
Sports Massage and Remedial Massage in Windsor
Why Sports massage?
If you have sustained an injury or are simply an athlete looking to reach your optimum performance level, then a sports massage can help you to achieve your goal.
Sports massage is an effective method of reducing tension in the muscles, mobilising joints, stimulating circulation, promoting healing, and encouraging the removal of waste products, such as lactic acid, from the body. Keeping your muscles in peak condition can significantly reduce your risk of injury.
Prepare your body
Prepare your body for sport and activity and help promote your body's natural recovery process with a sports massage.
Massage can help throughout all stages of sport and exercise, from preparation and training, to competing and post-event recovery. Sports massage, in combination with a training program, can help you reach your peak physical condition.
If you are training for an event, playing sport or simply working hard in the gym, massage can help keep you in better condition by preventing muscle strains/tears and ligament sprains.
If you have pain or discomfort associated with poor posture, arthritis, tendinitis, whiplash or job related repetitive strain injuries, remedial massage can help you manage your pain.
